HRD Corp Claimable Courses let employers registered with HRD Corp pay for staff training from their levy balance, as long as the course runs with a registered training provider. All ten Hustle Malaysia courses are registered with HRD Corp and delivered by H Ventures Sdn Bhd.
Each course has its own HRD Corp course ID, shown on the course page
No upfront payment needed: the approved course fee is debited from your levy account. A training provider may ask for up to 30% upfront, and only with your consent.
Your company needs to be registered with HRD Corp and have no outstanding levy or interest.
Choose a course, or ask for in-house training. We send you the quotation, the trainer profile and the course schedule: the documents HRD Corp asks for.
Submit the grant application in e-TRiS with those documents attached. Once it is approved, the course fee is debited from your levy account.
Your team attends the course. We submit the course fee claim to HRD Corp within six months of the training; your company then claims any allowances you applied for.

What is an HRD Corp Claimable Course?

A course registered with HRD Corp by a registered training provider. Employers registered with HRD Corp can pay for it from their levy balance under the HRD Corp Claimable Courses scheme, formerly SBL-Khas. Every Hustle Malaysia course is on that list, and its HRD Corp course ID is shown on the course page.

Which employers can use it?

Employers registered with HRD Corp that have no outstanding levy or interest. The grant is applied for in e-TRiS, with our quotation, the trainer profile and the course schedule attached.

Do we have to pay upfront?

No. Under HRD Corp Claimable Courses, the approved course fee is claimed by the registered Training Provider directly from HRD Corp after the training is completed.A Training Provider may request an upfront payment of up to 30% of the approved course fee, but this requires the employer’s consent.

What can we claim besides the course fee?

Depending on the training type and eligibility, employers may also claim allowable costs such as meal allowance, trainee allowance, consumable training materials, airfare or transportation, and other eligible training-related expenses.For Remote Online Training, eligible internet data costs of up to RM100 per group may also be claimable.All claims are subject to HRD Corp’s latest Allowable Cost Matrix (ACM) and applicable limits.

Yes. We provide customised in-house training that can be tailored to your company’s objectives, departments and actual workplace requirements, with minimum 8 headcount request.

Who submits the claim, and when?

For HRD Corp Claimable Courses, the Training Provider submits the course fee claim after the training is completed.Your company then submits claims for eligible allowances, consumable training materials and other approved expenses, where applicable.Claims must generally be submitted within 6 months from the training completion date.
